Strategic Round Table

A Strategic Round Table is the idea that you invite several people, no one typically are competing with each other, and they are there for one purpose, to listen to what each other does and who they would like to be introduced to as a client. Then the others in the group keep that in mind and try to refer business to them and Visa Versa.

Here is an example of a Strategic Round Table invitation. To be sent out after you have spoken to that person;

(done through Email)

Hello Everyone,

I am inviting you to a Power Round Table at the ABC office on Friday, December 16th. I know, I know, it’s the Holidays but let’s keep on! The purpose of this meeting is to effectively understand a little bit more about each other’s businesses and how we might be able to help each other. I will facilitate the meeting to get our business underway at 9 AM sharp and completed by 10:30 AM. Be prepared to share with the group in approximately 7 minutes who you are looking to meet, what specific market you are going after and a little bit about your company. Knowing each of you professionally I selected you specifically because I think there may be synergy between some of you and if you decide to align with each other after this brief introduction that would be great.

Please rsvp by replying to this email and call me if you have any questions. Some of you already know one another and I am looking forward to introducing you to other people that I like and respect. If you cannot make this one, no worries, just let me know.

Best Regards,

Jane Doe,

Vice President of National Accounts

ABC Company and Services, Inc.
